End-user license agreement
This agreement sets out rights and duties between Heritage Inc. and the individual or organization acquiring a TopoSnap license. This public version applies to contracts for which it is presented and accepted during purchase or installation. Visiting this page or continuing to use an existing program does not alone mean acceptance of this new agreement.
1. Applicable documents
The accepted EULA, purchase conditions and refund policy form the license agreement. B2B arrangements follow separately agreed terms. Individually agreed conditions and mandatory law prevail. Website changes do not unilaterally reduce existing contractual rights; this public version does not automatically replace an agreement already included in an installer.
2. License granted
We grant a non-exclusive right to install and run TopoSnap within the purchased product, device count, period and approval conditions. Ownership and copyright in the software are not transferred. Unless a multi-device agreement applies, a license is tied to its registered device; use on another PC requires a transfer or additional license.
- Standard: no license time limit or recurring subscription fee. Periodic online approval checks are required.
- Student: valid for one year after school-email verification and payment, with the same product features. No automatic recurring charge. Renewal is available from 30 days before expiry through reverification and payment. An active license renews from its existing expiry; an expired license starts from the new confirmed payment.
- Trial: seven days from the stated starting condition. Trial use alone does not form a paid contract.
- B2B: agreed device count, deployment and support conditions apply. A quote request or generated request document is not a purchase or completed approval.
A perpetual license does not automatically include every future paid upgrade, unlimited support or permanently offline use. Specifically promised updates/support and acquired license rights are preserved.
3. Devices and transfers
Activation uses a registered public key and device proof. Private keys remain protected in the device’s security hardware and are not transmitted to us. Drawings need not be submitted to activation servers.
Replacement, loss or hardware failure can be handled through a transfer request and purchase/license verification. The old device’s license is released and the new device is linked; continued use on the old device after transfer is not allowed. Approval may take up to seven days to prevent overlap with an old offline lease. Ask for alternative verification if the old device is unavailable.
A temporary network or verification failure does not itself extinguish a perpetual license. We provide verification/recovery guidance and handle valid contractual rights fairly. Refunds are not delayed because of a transfer waiting period.
4. Your drawings and workflow
Rights in your drawings, scripts and output remain with you or their existing owner. This agreement does not grant us ownership, resale rights or AI training rights over your drawings. Any file-support use is agreed separately.
DWG, DXF, XREF, fonts, blocks, LISP and CTB results vary by files, APIs and settings. Complete compatibility with every third-party feature is not promised. Use the trial, retain backups and check copies of important originals. Review design/construction output against relevant professional standards. This guidance does not waive responsibility for product defects.
5. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may retain copies needed for lawful installation and recovery. Copying beyond the purchased scope, unauthorized resale/rental, sharing approval keys/licenses, bypassing activation and unlawfully acquiring or disclosing confidential technical material are not permitted.
Unauthorized reverse analysis, modification and derivative distribution are restricted except where permitted by law. Lawful code analysis for interoperability, legitimate research/evaluation and specifically authorized activities are not prohibited wholesale. Report vulnerabilities without accessing unrelated users’ information.
Public product information, independently developed materials and your drawings are not treated as our trade secrets. This agreement does not impose a blanket NDA or non-compete duty without a separate agreement. Open-source and third-party components retain their own license rights and notices. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.
6. Price, payment and discounts
Current advertised prices are KRW990,000 including VAT for domestic standard, US$660 for standard PayPal checkout and US$33 annually for students. The currency, amount and discount conditions shown before ordering govern the transaction. Eligible offline coupons use a KRW770,000 reference price converted to USD at the disclosed quote rate. Provider conversion/fees can change the amount charged in KRW. Coupon scope, expiry and usage count follow the issuance conditions.
PayPal is the offered payment method. Planned methods are unavailable until activated. Test payments are not purchase evidence or paid approval. Supply a transaction reference for payment/license-linking problems; duplicate charges and non-delivery are reviewed and handled.
7. Refunds and termination
Withdrawal, defects, repayment periods and requests follow the refund policy and applicable law. Installation or activation alone does not justify refusing every refund. Provider procedures and this agreement do not reduce statutory rights. Minors retain applicable guardian-consent and cancellation protections.
For a material breach, we notify the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct or explain. Necessary temporary restrictions may be applied to prevent immediate harm, with a review route. Termination/refunds depend on the breach, delivered services and law; making a complaint or objection is not itself grounds for termination.
Use must stop when a license expires, is validly terminated or is revoked following refund. This does not delete or transfer ownership of your drawings. Records and personal data follow the privacy policy.
8. Warranty, responsibility and support
We are responsible for supplying the contracted and advertised product and for statutory duties. We do not promise error-free handling of every drawing, uninterrupted operation or a particular professional result. Intentional misconduct, gross negligence and statutory defect/refund liability are not excluded. Liability follows applicable law and validly agreed terms. B2B support/service levels require separate agreement.
9. Changes, disputes and contact
Material changes are announced before application and accepted where required. Publication or silence alone does not amend an existing agreement. Korean law applies without excluding mandatory protections applicable to you. Disputes are first discussed; unresolved matters may use the legally competent court and applicable mediation procedures.
